Every time a customer makes a purchase, they receive the merchant's points and daponto points.
For example: suppose a customer makes a purchase of €10 at merchant A. They receive 10 points from that merchant and, in parallel, in a separate wallet, 10 daponto points.
The customer goes to merchant B and makes a purchase of €15. They receive 15 points from that merchant and, in parallel, 15 daponto points.
At this point, the customer has 10 points from merchant A, 15 points from merchant B, and 25 daponto points . The daponto points equal the total of all points earned across all merchants!
Merchant points can only be redeemed at that specific merchant's location and only by existing customers. In this case, the merchant does not need to create campaigns on their daponto account — they can simply discount the points at the point of sale.
As a result, the customer always benefits from a double reward — through the merchant's own points and/or through daponto points.
